Jacqueline joined eftec as a Researcher in January 2026 and currently supports natural capital projects focused on carbon and nature markets, ecosystem service valuation, and green finance.
Prior to joining eftec, Jacqueline was a Research Assistant with the Grantham Research Institute for Climate Change and the Environment, where she worked on projects relating to nature-related risks and finance. She led a study on Integrated Landscape Approaches, mapping key case studies, ecosystems, commodities, supply chains, and financial models. Through this research, she identified financing approaches to mobilise private investment into landscape-scale nature restoration.
Jacqueline also held Research Assistant roles at Cornell University’s Cooperative Extension in New York and the University of Miami’s Department of Geography and Sustainable Development. In New York, she collected field data on marine animal and seagrass populations to inform public policy and conservation efforts. At the University of Miami, she contributed to a project on sustainable development and ecotourism in Cape Town, South Africa.
Jacqueline holds an MSc in Climate Change Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh Business School and a BA in Environmental Science & Policy and International Relations from the University of Miami.
